Mindflex is developed in Berlin by clinical psychologists completing their psychotherapy licensure. We built the tool we wished existed, for the moments between sessions, on waiting lists, or when everyday life gets heavy.
Two things became impossible to keep looking past. The first is the quiet avalanche of people who reach out for mental health support and find a six-month waiting list. The second is the specific loneliness of the moments in between appointments (at 2 a.m., on a Sunday afternoon, in a parked car after work) where having somewhere to think out loud would matter, and there is nowhere.
We didn't start Mindflex to replace what professional care does. We started it because there is a space around professional care that nobody is serving well, and that space is where a lot of the actual weight of modern life sits.
Responsible for the psychological framework behind every Mindflex conversation: the structural logic of the 5-phase model, the safety-first design, and the editorial review of public-facing content.
Responsible for therapeutic depth and ethical safeguards across the Mindflex experience, particularly the boundaries where an AI companion must step back and point to a real human professional.
Full names, photos, and LinkedIn profiles publish with each Approbation grant.
This wording is controlled from a single config file (data/credentials.json), so every surface updates at once.
Mindflex is an AI reflection space. A new category, distinct from therapy, from friends, from tools, from crisis services. It exists for the quiet moments that don't belong to any of the others.
It is not therapy. It is not a medical device. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care. We are clear about this on every surface because it matters: clinical needs require clinical support, and no AI companion can replace that. If you are in crisis, we direct you to real human support, not deeper into a chat.
What we build Mindflex for is the structural gap everybody knows about and nobody has solved: the weeks between deciding you need support and actually getting it, the times of day when nobody else is awake, the kind of thought that's too small for a therapist and too heavy for a friend. That gap is where Mindflex belongs.
